Implementing Vibration Diagnostics for Rotating Equipment

This talk provides an overview of vibration analysis practices essential for effective condition monitoring and fault diagnosis in rotating machinery. It covers key principles of vibration measurement, data acquisition, and signal interpretation, alongside common fault signatures and diagnostic techniques. The session highlights modern tools and approaches used in vibration monitoring and analysis for early fault detection, and data-driven maintenance decision-making.

Predictive Maintenance for Oil and Gas Methane Reduction

This talk provides an overview of how predictive maintenance can be leveraged to reduce methane emissions across oil and gas operations. It examines the relationship between equipment condition, asset reliability, and methane loss, with particular attention to gas compressors, valves, flanges, pneumatic devices, storage tanks, vapour recovery systems, and flares. The session highlights how condition monitoring, sensor data, maintenance analytics, and Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) programmes can be integrated to detect early signs of equipment deterioration, prevent abnormal venting and leaks, and support more accurate methane measurement, reporting, and verification.

Marine Survey & Inspection: Leveraging Technology for Predictive Asset Integrity

Traditional marine surveys are increasingly inadequate for the complexity of modern vessel operations. This talk explores how Somatrix Marine integrates advanced inspection technologies, including remote sensing, condition monitoring, and data-driven diagnostic tools, to deliver proactive asset integrity management. Drawing from real operational contexts in Nigeria's marine sector, we highlight how structured inspection frameworks reduce unplanned downtime, extend asset life, and support safer, more cost-efficient vessel operations. A practical look at where survey meets predictive maintenance.
